Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee Machine Review in 2024

Discover a German-made machine that grinds and brews coffee in one step. Tchibo coffee makers are the fathers of German coffee makers that have been around forever. Tchibo is a combination of the abbreviation of co-founder Carl Tchiling Hiryan’s name and ‘bohne’ which means ‘bean’ in the German language. It may not be wrong to say that Tchibo coffee makers make coffee very similar to Starbucks. The same can be said about the Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee Machine.

This Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee Machine is the latest addition to the coffee makers’ ranges Tchibo. Unlike many other single-serve coffee machines, the best thing about this coffee maker is its eco-friendly footprint.

You can dump the beans in, press a button, and Viola! Your coffee is ready. But, well, there is more to this coffee machine than just this. So, let’s dive in and talk some more about its exciting features.

Design & Features

When it comes to first impressions, the Tchibo Automatic Coffee Machine will undoubtedly win you over. The super sleek stainless steel body looks classy and is super compact.

You can make a single cup of coffee with just one button. Though it doesn’t have a built-in milk frother, you can make three different types of coffee with it. It comes with a simple touch display on top. You can easily choose between espresso, a regular caffè Crema, and a large americano.

In addition, the removable water reservoir is at the back of the coffee maker. It comes with a capacity of 37 oz. This is a good capacity for a single-serve coffee maker as you don’t have to refill it after brewing a single cup.

Moreover, on top of the coffee maker, a coffee hopper comes with aroma protection sealing. However, you get an option to expand and adjust the size from 5.6 ounces to 10.6 ounces. But, you will hardly get to use the 10.6-ounce capacity, especially if you live alone. Following is the detailed diagram showing the design, features, and structure of the machine;

Coffee Making Process

The coffee-making process starts with grinding the coffee in the built-in grinder. You can easily adjust the grind settings using the knob to control the size of the grinds.

The coffee maker brews three different sizes that are 2, 6, and 8 oz. You need to press the button and keep holding it to increase the brew size. Also, it comes with a strength booster if you want to increase the intensity of the brew.

Simply pour in whole beans at the top and hit PLAY

Next, the coffee grinds go to a chamber inside the machine where the coffee gets brewed. The leftover coffee grinds from the brew cycle get dumped in an internal receptacle. The coffee ground receptacle is at the bottom of the coffee maker.

You can easily remove it to throw the coffee grounds. The receptacle is big enough to hold grounds from ten brew cycles, so you do not have to empty it after every brew. Once the chamber is full, you can see an indicator light on the display panel. It shows when to throw the coffee grounds.

FAQs

How is Tchibo coffee?

It is great coffee, however, it isn’t an excellent one. While I consider Tchibo Gold of better quality, I found the flavor like customary Folgers coffee. Assuming you think U.S coffee brands by and large taste fine and you’d like something almost similar that is more straightforward on the sense of taste and the stomach, Tchibo is presumably a good decision.

Can I also fill the Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee machine with ground coffee?

No, you cannot fill the Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee Machine with ground coffee. You can only use fresh coffee beans to ensure a delicious cup of coffee every time.

How often should I descale the Tchibo Fully Automatic Coffee machine?

It would help if you descaled the coffee machine as soon as you saw the descaling light indicator. Descaling regularly is very beneficial. It keeps your coffee machine maintained and increases the life of the machine.

What is in the descaler solution?

Descaling agents are normally acidic mixtures, for example, hydrochloric acid that responds with the calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate compounds present in the scale, producing carbon dioxide gas and a dissolvable salt.

The pod-free operation of the machine helps to reduce waste. You get to enjoy a consistently delicious-tasting coffee every day. Besides, it comes in a very reasonable price range compared to its similar counterparts.
